A Gentle Holiday Blessing

Dear You,

This holiday season, I want to remind you: it’s okay to sit with grief. It’s okay to laugh. It’s okay to feel both longing and warmth. Your heart can hold both.

You don’t need to “fix” anything about your feelings. You don’t need to be anyone other than exactly who you are in this moment. By allowing yourself to feel fully, you honor your story and create space for gentle growth, like sunlight on a winter morning.

May you feel held, seen, and tenderly supported this season.

With love,
Alishia

I’m Alishia Anderson, a stillbirth survivor who turned my pain into purpose after losing my firstborn son, DJ. Through my book Still Here and future endeavors, I’ve made it my mission to create safe spaces for honest conversations about grief, faith, and hope—for baby loss families, grievers, and anyone navigating life transitions.

I’m a wife, angel mommy to DJ, and a rainbow and golden mama to my two living children. Originally from Michigan, I now call Southern California home and am a proud graduate of Florida A&M University and Kennesaw State University.
